AILA 2024 National Landscape Awards Winners

Following the AILA preliminary regional awards that recognize outstanding projects within specific states or territories, the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects has announced the winners of the 2024 National Landscape Architecture Awards, recognizing 43 outstanding projects across 16 categories. Jury chair Andrew Thomas praised this year’s winners for their exemplary design, leadership, and commitment to sustainability, emphasizing the positive environmental and social impacts of many projects.
Below is only a handful of selected awarded projects in the categories of Civic Landscape, Community Contribution, Cultural Heritage, Gardens, Health and Education Landscape, Infrastructure, International, Landscape Planning, Parks and Open Space, Play Spaces, Research, Policy and Communications, Small Projects, Tourism, Urban Design, Regional Achievement and Climate Positive Design.
