How About a Little Less?

presented by miramondo

We love public space and the people who fill it with life. And we want this space to stay amazing for generations to come. That is why we put all our efforts into environmentally friendly and eco-efficient production. We prevent all forms of unnecessary waste of resources. Because we know: The most sustainable resource is the one that remains.

So, we asked ourselves: “How about a little less“?

Our goal is to make the most out of as few resources as possible: to reduce wherever possible and nevertheless to achieve the best quality. The sparing use of resources is our topmost priority for keeping our ecological footprint small.

Less Material

In our material selection, we pay attention to maximum stability with minimum material thickness.

Less Garbage

Thanks to precise calculation and optimized material usage, there are hardly any offcuts.

Fewer Individual Parts

We create a broad, varied assortment with just a few different parts.

Less Waste

In case of vandalism, all individual parts can be exchanged easily. The whole piece of furniture doesn’t have to be replaced.

Less Packaging

For transport, we package the furniture tightly in order to prevent packaging waste.

Less Cargo Space – Fewer CO2 Emissions

Most of our furniture is packed vertically in order to use the cargo space in the truck optimally.

Less Energy

We also consume as little energy as possible in our operations. Carefully selected small machines reduce the energy required for production. Thanks to well-insulated walls, our heating costs during the winter are minimal. All around the building, we have created generous green spaces in order to keep the temperature low in the summer without air conditioning. Positive side effect: The wild areas around our headquarters offer many different plants and animals a safe, beautiful home.

Our challenge is to satisfy the many needs of public space with our furniture. It should fit in classic as much as in modern environments. It should offer people in different moods and life situations a comfortable place. And it should be long-lasting, sustainable, and also nice to look at.
