Since its completion in 2020, the forest and sports park Guan Ming (CN) became a destination for the Big Bay area. Located in a metropolitan region known for its success in innovative industries, the park stands out by strongly emphasizing sports and ecology. Comprised of two Research & Development centers, the Guang Ming Town Forest and Sports Park are part of the world’s most innovative Delta.
This dynamic park environment continually evolves and diversifies, creating an idyllic environment for nature and people. The park loop is distinctively demarcated by integrating an adjacent linear tree nursery. In a natural forest setting, people are able to get to know new and forgotten sports, as well as the latest techniques used in sports. With a range of landscapes spanning from open valleys to lower hills and mountain forests, the park provides a picturesque backdrop for sports and recreational activities.
The iconic landmark elevated red path connects the park to the city and the forest, offering a scenic route along diverse forest types. The red path is complemented by a series of pavilions, which are modular and prefabricated to minimize environmental impact. These pavilions host various functions such as restaurants, restrooms, viewing platforms, and forest cabins. Whether for play, sports, work, or relaxation, this park offers a versatile space for all.
