DELVA transformed the old parking lot of the headquarters of housing corporation De Key into a green courtyard. Central to the transformation is the linking of the spaces on the ground floor, where special places for meetings and informal consultations are located. The diverse spaces, the use of natural materials, transparency, an abundance of daylight and the extensive presence of greenery enhance the well-being of users and neighbours.

The inner garden is an extension of the adjacent work areas on the ground floor, which seamlessly connect to the garden via transparent walls. The garden is a plant-rich oasis, inspiring and calming, and borders the open water of the Nieuwe Vaart canal. From façade to façade, we apply a green carpet that contrasts beautifully with the buildings.

Two metal tree towers are the eye-catchers of the garden and create a pleasant vertical articulation. They also provide a green experience from the upper floors. The garden is shaded and is therefore planted with a selection of shade-loving ferns, hostas, geraniums, brunnera and autumn anemones. In spring, the flowering bulbs bring the garden to life.
