Elevate Landscape Designs with Enscape’s New Animated Vegetation Assets

presented by Enscape

Adding 3D assets to your landscape design scene can make all the difference during a presentation. It provides a more lifelike representation of the design, allowing clients and stakeholders to understand the project better.

Enscape is a real-time visualization plugin that enables you to create landscape renderings with ease and speed. Their latest release, Enscape 4.0, features a fresh collection of animated vegetation assets.

Animated vegetation assets

Enscape introduced animated vegetation assets into the Enscape Asset Library in version 2.8. They are 3D models for walkthroughs and videos that move when the camera is in motion in Enscape.

The new set of assets features trees, bushes, and flowers specific to Mexico, as well as the northern climate and desert regions. There are 178 new variations added to the collection.

Animated vegetation assets add a level of realism. Like in real life, you can make the trees flutter or make the leaves move with a slight gust of wind. The animation happens automatically, so all you have to do is start Enscape to see your landscaping come to life.

You can manage the intensity and direction from which the wind comes with the wind controls. You will find it under the Enscape Visual settings.

What else is new in Enscape 4.0

Enscape 4.0 features the accessibility of the real-time visualization plugin for macOS users just like their Windows counterparts. This latest version is a multi-platform solution that uncovers an overhauled codebase with improved infrastructure and technical foundation to increase stability and performance.

Enscape 4.0 also comes with:

New people assets

32 unique people assets have been added to the Enscape Asset Library. This new batch comes with people in different poses and wearing different outfits and accessories.

NVIDIA Denoiser for capture exports

The latest NVIDIA ReLAX Denoiser lets you reduce noise in image and video capture exports, improving image quality and enhancing the realism of Enscape-rendered scenes.

Ray-traced artificial lights beta

This Windows-only function ensures sharp and precise shadow edges in scenes illuminated by light sources. Say goodbye to unrealistic limitations of light source ranges and say hello to a seamlessly immersive lighting environment for your creations.

New VR headset support

This Windows-only function sees official support for virtual reality head-mounted displays: Meta Quest 3 and HTC Vive Pro 2. Enjoy crisp details and fast loading speeds with these headsets.

Chaos interoperability

To further enhance the Enscape to V-Ray compatibility that was released in 2023, V-Ray Scene Exporter was introduced. This lets you transfer data from Enscape to V-Ray and other design applications, including 3ds Max and Cinema 4D.

Enscape 4.0 also includes improved reflections & global illumination for hardware ray tracing, support for Rhino 8.3 or later, UI reskin, Revit Worksharing optimization, and more.

If you’re already an Enscape user, you can upgrade to the latest version for free. Otherwise, you can sign up for a free trial to experience the ease and speed of the only real-time visualization plugin that directly integrates into your design tool.
