LUC is an award-winning, employee-owned environmental consultancy with nearly 60 years of experience. Our founders established the company at a time when the human impact on the environment was only beginning to be understood and there was a need for integrated and collaborative environmental solutions. We excel in delivering high quality urban design and public realm projects, but our expertise extends far beyond city boundaries. We frequently collaborate across disciplines to create high-quality and sustainable places in rural and out-of-city areas.

In this rural context, we are committed to creating a positive impact on the environment. Our work involves conducting landscape sensitivity assessments, establishing native woodland creation, implementing sustainable farmland management, and enhancing tourist and recreational facilities often in internationally important landscapes.

At the heart of our approach is a seamless integration of landscape planning, design, geospatial analysis, and visualisation. Our holistic planning and design practice ensures that developments not only enhance the built, natural, and social environment, but also effectively address the challenges climate change poses.
