OKRA is looking for a French-speaking landscape architect / senior designer
OKRA works at home and abroad on award-winning projects ranging from implementation designs to large-scale area visions. For a growing number of projects and tenders in France, OKRA is looking for a French-speaking senior designer. Would you like to work on challenging projects with a great team? Then read on.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As senior designer, you will determine the main design lines with the project leader and take care of the implementation. You will master the entire design process, from analysis to concept, to design and detailing. You give substance to our high ambitions without losing sight of feasibility and manufacturability. You know how to present design proposals clearly through writing and imagery and you are aware of the different target groups with whom you communicate. You are familiar with the challenges of climate adaptation and biodiversity and know how to translate these into concrete design interventions. As a senior designer, you are versatile and able to work on projects both individually and as part of a team, managing junior designers and interns where necessary. You will be an integral part of the team working on Dutch and international projects with a focus on the French market.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
– You are a versatile, talented landscape architect / senior designer; a good command of French and English in spoken and written form. Good command of the Dutch language is an advantage;
– You have a completed education in the field of landscape design or landscape architecture (HBO or academic);
– You have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience;
– You can independently execute and design projects, manage team members and maintain contact with clients;
– You have good knowledge of design processes and experience working in multidisciplinary design teams;
– You are proficient in working with AutoCAD / BricsCAD, Rhino3d, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign;
– You are a proactive person and easy to communicate with.
